![]() Overall this place is not worth whatever you pay and I sincerely wish I could get a refund. I wish I could say that was a joke or that it even was a trick of the eyes but we were right by one of the kitchen entrances and saw it for ourselves. Despite the clean appearance of the restaurant it did come into question if it really was due to a Chihuahua straight up walking out the kitchen with a worker. Because the Apple Crisp was not crispy/crunchy at all and if anything it was soft and soggy, mind you the ice cream hadn't even started melting yet. After that we figured there was no way you could mess up an Apple Crisp but I guess anything is possible. My girlfriend had the tri-tip sandwich and that had little to no flavor meat wise and she didn't get far into hers before deciding that she wouldn't finish it. I asked for bbq sauce (don't know why it wouldn't come with a bbq dish) but it did save the second half of the sandwich a bit, enough that I was willing to pay just because its what I should do not because it was worth it. I had cut the sandwich in half and by the time I was finished with the first half I was considering just straight up walking out. The pork was dry so not a very good start and the fries were way too salty. The dishes themselves looked and smelled good, I had the pulled pork sandwich and put my pickles on there with some onions and got to eating. With that in mind our food was more warm than anything. It did sit on the counter though for about 7 minutes until we actually received it. Our food didn't take that long to come out, maybe 30 minutes tops. They were busy however even considering that she wasn't very attentive towards us but was towards other tables. Our server, Mayra for some reason was very passive aggressive towards us. Food wise, the things that were good were the potato skins, ice cream and our drinks.Įverything else was not that great. On top of being seated quickly we were also greeted quickly by our server and again the place was very clean looking. We were seated pretty quickly and in front of the kitchen. I'm gonna start with everything that was good about the restaurant. Place looks clean and hostess is friendly. So we arrive here and the food smells great. Manager remembered me from lunch and comped 2 orders of the sourdough bread with cheese, absolutely delicious.ĭon't hesitate, this place is a must visit, food is a 5+, service is also 5+. Coworker had the swordfish, which I wish I would have ordered. We ordered the crab cocktail appetizer x 2 for the group and they concur that it is the best. ![]() ![]() All 8 people raved about the food,I had the crab cakes which were good but not great. Liked it so much I took my team there for lunch the same day. The plain sourdough bread was also exceptional. Also tried the clam chowder sampler, which had Classic White, Spicy Red, and Rhode Island Clear, all were good but the white was the best I have had. The crab cocktail appetizer was ridiculously delicious, big pieces of crab with serranos, micro-Cilantro and lemon garlic marinade, best appetizer of the year for me. One of the best restaurants I have been to this year, out-freaking-standing! Was packed when I went by myself for lunch, impressed by the server and manager, both were super nice and very professional. Overall it was an okay experience but the price was so high and the food wasn’t worth it. We probably won’t go back because we didn’t like the food. The lemon cheesecake was good and the peanut butter pie was good. The garlic fries were okay but too stringy. The fried fish and shrimp was so covered with thick batter that it took away from the actual fish and shrimp. The blackened shrimp tacos- the tortillas were homemade so that was great, but they loaded it so full of slaw and other stuff that I could barely taste the shrimp. We got the blackened shrimp tacos, spicy fish sandwich, the stuffed cheese bread and my son got the fried fish, shrimp and chips. It could be that we lived in the New Orleans area for many years and are used to flavorful food. We had to make a reservation a week in advance to eat here. I had heard great things about this restaurant.
